Helping Officers Manage Stress

Everyone involved in law enforcement is aware of the problems associated with job related stress. Police officers must be “combat ready” and at the same time be prepared to act as, lawyer, social worker, marriage counselor, arbitrator, minister, or emergency medicine technician.

Officers are often the first to arrive on a scene of severe injury, violence, or death.

The police are often on the front line fighting the opioid crisis. They must be there to save a life and to assist victims in finding help.

2018 donations are providing funds for a “Stress Management” program to help our officers and their families deal with the emotional demands that accompany law enforcement.
